Dharwad LS Reports 24 % Voter Turnout by 11 AM

Polling momentum is on the rise as Phase 3 of the Lok Sabha elections unfolds across the remaining 14 constituencies of the state. Despite the scorching sun, voters exhibit determination as they queue up at numerous polling stations to exercise their democratic rights. By 11 am, voter turnout figures indicate active participation: Dharwad at 24.00%, Bagalkot 23.80%, Belagavi 23.91%, Ballari 26.45%, Bidar 22.33%, Vijayapura 23.91%, Chikkodi 27.23%, Davanagere 23.73%, Kalaburgi 22.64%, Haveri 24.24%, Koppal 24.64%, Raichur 22.05%, Shivamogga 27.22%, and Uttara Kannada 27.65%.

In the midst of this electoral fervor, Karnataka Legislature Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti exercised his democratic right at a polling booth established at Lamington School, MLA Mahesh Tenginkai casted his vote at a government school in Basaveshwar Nagar, Congress MLA Prasad Abbbayya exercised his franchise at a government school in Santosh Nagar.

Congress candidates make their mark. Mrinal Hebbalkar, contesting from the Belagavi Lok Sabha seat, along with his mother Laxmi Hebbalkar, cast their votes at a polling station near Hindalaga Jail. Meanwhile, Vinod Asuti, the Congress candidate for the Dharwad Lok Sabha seat, exercises his right to vote at a government school polling booth in Navalgund.
